Messias Port 20 Years White

Tasting Notes

This 20 year old white wine is light amber in color. On the nose it has a certain complexity with notes of apricot and hazelnut. On the palate it has great freshness combined with a pleasant sweetness, this is a wine with a long, velvety finish.

Winemaking Process

This wine comes from skin maceration and is fermented at a controlled temperature (18-20ºC). When the must reaches the desired sweetness, fermentation is interrupted by the addition of brandy (77%). It is then aged in oak in warehouses in Vila Nova de Gaia until it is bottled.
