Dark golden wine with a high incidence of greenish tones.
Tasting Notes
The aroma of this Colheita 1947 is full of surprises as it has surprising tertiary aromas full of vinagrinho and a mixture of spices. On the palate, it is very full-bodied and fat with a remarkable complexity, confirming all the nobility of the aromas with a powerful and exuberant retronasal attack, present with an endlessly long finish
Vinification Process
Fermented in a granite press, when the must reaches the desired sweetness, the fermentation is interrupted by the addition of brandy (77%), and then aged in oak for a minimum of 7 years, in warehouses in Vila Nova de Gaia until bottling
