Messias Port Colheita 1966
Tasting Note
Amber in color, this wine has complex and pleasant tertiary aromas, with notes of spices such as pepper, light cloves and a touch of vanilla, given by the good wood. In the mouth it confirms all its elegant aromatic evolution and a long and sublime finish.
Winemaking Process
Wine fermented with partial destemming at a controlled temperature (24-28ºC) when the must reaches the desired sweetness value, fermentation is interrupted by the addition of brandy (77%), subsequently aging in oak wood for a minimum period of 7 years, in warehouses in Vila Nova de Gaia until being bottled.
