Tasting Notes
A fine and complex aroma, with forest fruits reminiscent of blueberries and cassis, punctuated by mineral sensations of pottery and iodine-like salt. The forest background dominates the whole tasting experience. The palate is strongly structured. However, its silky tannins and refreshing acidity hint at a wine with enormous ageing potential. Very long finish.
Winemaking process
Careful monitoring of the evolution of each parcel of grapes. Prolonged skin maceration and ageing in French oak barrels for 24 months. Editions always based on the local Baga variety and only from vintages where it reaches its full identity.
